Our history
From a teachers' merry-go-round to a community SACCO.
2011
The beginning
SMACS started as a merry-go-round among a group of teachers of St. Mary's College Lugazi, supporting the individual financial growth of members who embraced the idea.
2013
Community-based organization
The group registered as a Community Based Organization (CBO).
2022
SACCO registration
The organization later registered as a SACCO. Registration number: 11601/RCS. Source date: 29 April 2022.
